"Chocolate Vanilla Porter"
After drinking our chocolate porter we felt it deserved a name that captures the spirit of the Mayans, the ancestors of the cacao producers we use today. Itzamnἀ seemed the obvious choice; old and ragged with a bulbous red nose, he introduced the Mayans to cacao and was responsible for knowledge and creation. Using organic cacao nibs and whole vanilla pods imported from the Mayan regions of Central America this is a smooth, strong imperial porter that has a deep chocolate sweetness, given balance by the fresh vanilla and the deep, roasty malts.
